I can use my CD Drives when I first boot in Frugalware. However, my CD drives randomly and become unrecognized by my computer. A message box titled "Audio CD - KDE Daemon" comes up says "A New Medium has been detected. What do you want to do?" This happens regardless of whether there is a CD in my two DVD/CD drives or not. After this happens, I can read the contents of the CD, but can't do anything else like copy from the CD or rip music.

I have Frugalware and a couple of other Linuxes on my computer (plus a Windows partition that I rarely use). I have used the other Linuxes and sadly the Windows enough to know that I have no similar problems with them.
