ATI Catalyst CtrlCenter won't start.

Oh yeah, one more thing. fgl_glxgears does nothing:

$ fgl_glxgears
Using GLX_SGIX_pbuffer

... then nothing.

And if it means something:

I disabled AIGLX because it generated a lot of warnings.
